A passion for success and great products that drive a business forward were the motivating factors behind yesterday’s event, TIBCO + ibi: The Power of Together. This event was borne from our—TIBCO + ibi’s—desire to introduce ibi customers and partners like you to the TIBCO family and share all the ways the two companies complement and enhance one another’s strengths. Change is never easy, which is why this event’s agenda was designed to showcase a promising future together, while also addressing your most pressing concerns.

A Track for Everyone: Event highlights

The day began with a welcome from TIBCO’s executive leadership team, followed by three session tracks which registrants could attend:

  • The Success Track focused on the tools TIBCO + ibi together provide to help customers and partners be successful
  • The Innovation Track highlighted how TIBCO technology complements ibi’s portfolio and adds value
  • The Leadership Track demonstrated how TIBCO customers across industries, including the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team, are innovating with data

The event showcased products and technology plans, which will continue to focus on your most important needs. And to continue to nurture great relationships and community, TIBCO + ibi reinforced our continuation of KnowledgeShares, user groups, and the myibi community. Attendees also saw how TIBCO’s world-class business operations and scale will enhance the consistent, high level of service which you’ve already come to expect. And special guest speaker, Nile Rodgers, whose Grammy-winning recordings demonstrate the power of creativity through collaboration, discussed his insights on successful collaboration with TIBCO Chief People Officer Michelle Haddad.

A New Team: ibi’s legacy is woven into the fabric of TIBCO

The main point we hope customers and partners took from this event is that ibi remains focused on delivering the levels of trust, support, and ongoing communication through this transition and beyond, making us truly better together. Dan Ortolani is responsible for leading all aspects of technical support for TIBCO customers who utilize the WebFOCUS, Omni and FOCUS family of products. During his 30-plus years of experience with these products, he has held senior positions in both Customer Support and Product Management. Dan has led the expansion of the company’s commitment to support and advocate for its customers’ success through a comprehensive set of programs and services, including Cloud Managed Services, Premium Support Services, Advanced Technology Services, Global Help Desk, and Technical Knowledge Management. Dan and his team are consistently recognized for excellence in enterprise-class customer support via numerous industry awards annually.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut and has completed coursework at Stanford University’s Executive College program in Palo Alto, CA.
