Nigel Higgs / Managing Director
Nigel has over 30 years experience of leading and delivering data projects within the Technology and Business functions in a variety of industries including Financial Services, Insurance and Government. Nigel has held senior roles at Capital Group and Marsh McLennan as well as consultancy assignments at numerous City institutions including Reuters, Barclays, Prudential, Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank. Nigel is passionate about the architectural and metadata management aspects of Data Management and brings his wide and varied experience to every assignment.
A keen AFC Wimbledon supporter, Nigel helped to form, and served many terms, as a Board Member of the football club’s owning body, The Dons Trust. In 2004 he was appointed as Youth & Community Director to the football club board. In this executive role he led the establishment of both the boys youth development programme and the community football scheme. Following promotion to the English Football League in 2011 he oversaw the achievement of professional Youth Academy status and established the community scheme as a UK charity, the AFC Wimbledon Foundation.
In 2014 with these accomplishments under his belt he stepped back from the executive board and was re-elected and served two further terms back on the Dons Trust Board. He remains a Trustee of the AFC Wimbledon Foundation, supporting and promoting projects to provide educational, health, social inclusion and sports participation opportunities throughout the local community of South West London.
