Semanta and Data to Value announce strategic partnership

London and Prague, 16 March — Business Intelligence Portal provider Czech Republic Semanta s.r.o and Data Consultancy Data to Value Ltd. today announced a new strategic partnership.


Semanta’s breakthrough Encyclopaedia product brings a Business Intelligence Portal direct to the end-users. Data to Value will be leveraging Encyclopaedia and incorporating its capabilities into its Lean Information Management Consulting approach. The partnership aims to provide organisations, particularly within Financial Services, with a solution to their problems of accessing knowledge about their information resource. This will offer several core benefits to existing and prospective clients including finding out what information displayed on business intelligence output means, where it originates, who owns it and how to log issues and requirements.

A particular focus of the partnership will be to bring new approaches to the Financial Services sector. For instance, both parties believe significant opportunities exist for the adoption of metadata management technologies and techniques to address regulatory demands. This includes responding to compliance requests in areas such as BCBS and Solvency III through being able to demonstrate the provenance and lineage of data used in reports.
